EMS Mutant Phenotype Abbreviation Search
EMS mutants were characterized at three developmental stages (seed, seedling and adult). This page is designed for people who know what specific mutant to search for using the following options.
- Phenotype: type your search term here. The search term MUST be chosen from our pre-defined abbreviation. Please take a look at the following examples:
- Single term: you can type dwf under the "Adult Mutant Phenotype" and search for adult "Dwarf" mutants.
- '&' (AND) Operator: dwf & barren searches for mutant that are "Dwarf AND Earless".
- '|' (OR) Operator: dwf | tls searches for mutants that are "Dwarf OR Tasselless".
- '*' (Wildcard) Operator: dw* includes dwf; Only * will retrieve all the records.
- Background: the pull-down menu narrows mutant-search in defined inbred background.
- Image: this checkbox searches mutants ONLY if they have image available.
